Hi all, from Eli & Marianna.
We just bought a 1991 VX, imported from Japan, with a 1HD-T in it.
175 000 km. The only mods seem to be IPF fog lights.
Our only addition has been the attempted install of a JVC stereo that has started a string of grief.
Gonna have a look around for similar problems, you guys seem very helpful so far.
Sometime I'll throw up some pics of what will hopefully become "our baby"

huh, I thought I did put us on the map. We're in Fort St. John, B.C.
as far as symptoms, I'm pretty sure we have it narrowed down to the 12/24V relay switch.
The batteries are not charging when the ...
I'm gonna move this to the faq section, as it may be good reference

hahaha, too true. I'm not going to pull it off though, as it does two things for us:
1. it satisfies a very childish need to feel like you're driving something HUGE
2. it gives us points to visually line up from the driver's seat so we don't run into stuff when we turn left in the right hand drive.

besides, the deer & moose here are either sneaky or REALLY dumb. More often than not, you'll be at a complete stop when they hit you.
