Rear Height Adjustment Problem

Hi everyone. I have a 2005 Japanese Toyota Prado (LC 120). I have noticed that if the car is left parked for couple of hours, its rear height drops low. But when car is started, it rises up to Normal height. The height control buttons and indicators on instrument panel appear to function normal. Is this heigh drop in a parked vehicle a normal behaviour? Or should it maintain its height when turned off?

They maintain normal height pretty well indefinately, so sounds like you have a leak in the system that side, either the airbag itself or one of the pipes its connected to.

Get under and hopefully you'll be able to hear the leak, if not squirting some soapy water over the airbag and pipes will show where the leak is coming from.

@Juddian thank you so much for your kind input. Yes there was a leak in right side Air Suspension bag. Got both the airbags replaced and the car is good now. Luckily these symptoms appeared only a couple of days ago and the compressor was good yet.
