I have had a 90 series land cruiser since July 2023. I had a one-off individual S-Max very nice but needed an automatic, A 2001 model GX, it was 1 owner until 2020. when the cambelt was changed at 180k. 2nd owner until July 2023, had a full stainless exhaust from cat backwards £1200 & a new fuel tank £600 due to a leek advised by the mot test in June 2023, it still leaked when idling this was due to wear in the return pipe. Which was repaired
I have had very few problems with this vehicle, never once failed to start and perform incorrectly up until December 2024 when it was noticed that the fuel meter was rather slow in getting up to normal temp, I had new tyres fitted at the time, but doubt if this would contribute. I have a genuine Toyota sensor for water temp & pattern thermostat
It is now apparent that this lovely vehicle is no longer suitable for my needs, due health reasons, mainly difficulty in entering/exiting and also that I need to take 3 small children to school each day. Together with an adult as this Toyota GX has 8 seats, this should have been no problems. Unfortunately due to the lack of fore/aft adjustment on the middle & rear seat, there is no room for a pushchair/buggy. I have therefore gone back to an X-Max with automatic, pre 2010 as I do not trust powershift or rear leds.
As Stated at the top this is a Toyota Land Cruiser Colorado VX 3 litre 1kd-ftv engine with 203k on clock 4 Speed Auto inc overdrive. 8 seater Leather upholstery, alloy wheels with new Goodyear Tyres MOT till14 June 2025 and it has stainless steps, the only faults are due to a few lights not working in the instrument binnacle, light to illuminate water temp gauge, D light for auto notification, Main Beam blue notification, all the rest are ok and go off as required when started
This also has a Sony android radio. Dab, input for phone & apple/google play, with an automatic reverse screen when reverse is selected, also mobile phone connection with external mike, Original owners manual, brief instructions for android system and original cd player under front passenger seat not connected, new rear no plate as required for June2024 mot.
What is this worth & does anyone in the club have an interest, if so email me & I can send a load of pictures
