So after the fun and games with the wheel the cruiser has been running ok, had a nice holiday in the Isle of Wight, Jack thinks it makes a great sunshade. Lately the smell of coolant has been getting worse, and when parked I get coolant dripping from the drivers side mud flap. The leaking...

    ABS intermittently activated

Does it have dynamic stability control or similar? I had the same problem with a BMW, you drove along a straight road and suddenly the stability control would try and straighten the car out with the abs brakes, it turned out to be a faulty Yaw sensor that was located under the passenger seat...

    Tow/recovery

You can get the reciever hitch stuff from here... https://www.watling-towbars.co.uk/import_vehicle_towbars.html But on a post 1997 vehicle you should have a type approved towbar, however the reciever hitch is a very versatile system!

    Indicators and Hazards not working

If the hazard switch is unplugged the indicators wont work either. Don't know if this helps. Does the little illumination come on on the hazard switch?

I had the same noise recently, bronze bush in the stub axle was picking up on the CV and causing a really terrible noise, only happened every now and then though, it shakes the whole truck and is very loud.

The wheels have a coat of zinc primer, then zinc galvanising spray, then 2 coats of lacquer so hopefully they will last ok, I didn't do the machining a chap at work cut it on the lathe for me, it was very time consuming though it would be much quicker done on a milling machine but I don't have...

Don't worry I will check he wears his P.P.E. Did some more little jobs this evening, I have been roasting in the car as the air con is still broken, and I am convinced the heater always blows slightly warm air even when it is on cold. Removed the air con evaporator box again and had a look in...

The spare wheel was buckled when I bought the car either from an accident or driving on a flat tyre. I will take this wheel off and see how it is, I can get it sand blasted and tig welded at work.

I think it is because I kept changing the axle oil to try and flush the moly grease from the axle. The wiper seals on the knuckle were actually keeping that lot in! I did a pirate rebuild with a new axle oil seal and fresh cv grease, but I dont expect it to last long, the bronze bush in the...

The isofix bracket is for a ford focus 2004-2011. I got mine from Ebay. They were never installed in Focus as standard so not much point going to a scrapyard to get one. Like this: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F121199870418

Thats the good thing about the seat clipping into the base you sort the straps out inside the house then just clip the whole seat in. Also you can clip the car seat into the chassis of the pram and use it like a buggy.

Got my isofix baby seat mount in last week in the nick of time. Ford isofix bracket. Had to trim the foam back slightly and make 2 cuts in the backing for the hooks to go through. It is welded to the seat frame and to the seat belt mount of the seat. The seat belt also goes...
