Has anyone got a front tie rod and steering rod for a 80 lying around and for sale. Don’t need road ends. I know 80Breaker has but looking at options.

We tried a ground tent. We found sleeping on the ground uncomfortable until we got fishing bed chairs, but they were quite bulky. Went back to a RTT. Dog loves it too. Had an iKamper 3 before the bundutop we have now. IKamper was great but a thin mattress.

Ahh, the penny drops ….. always check with the engine running after cycling through the gears whether hot or cold because of drain back. Thx Both.

thx. Understand how to check. It’s just odd that the cold level is so far off the cold notches even when they are supposed to be a rough indication of proper level. I’ll do the normal hot test and see what happens.

My FJ80 (new to me) has a transmission cooler in front of the radiator. When cold, the fluid level is between the ‘hot’ notches. Would this be because of drain back from the cooler when the engine is off or is it genuinely overfilled ? I haven’t checked it when hot as yet.

it is good. Well made and durable. I bought it new in March 2022 for £3800 so there's still a chunk of the 2 year Initial Warranty left plus the Extended Limited Warranty for 3 years after that expires.
