Dear all,
Finally it's done! We sent the calendar in press today!
This is for those who have read or participated in my “Call for Pictures” thread, we owe you the result.
We chose 13 amazing pictures that will inspire you and ignite the desire to head for the (off-)road! These pictures...
We're almost there!
Dear all,
We’re almost there! Uploads and your chance to participate in the raffle ends this Saturday 27th, so this is your last chance!
Just to inform you about what will happen next:
During the weekend the Jury will put their heads together and select the 13 pictures...
The "Jury" introduces itself
Hello to you all,
Only one week to go until uploads will be closed on Saturday September 27th 0800 UTC!
So for those who have not yet uploaded their photos, take your time this weekend, scan your photos and submit the best ones here...
The price for the calendar will be around GBP 20, not 32. If it would be 32 I could probably fill up both fuel tanks and get a hot shower in a 3*** hotel :-)
We will be happy, if we can cover our expenses. In a project like this there's not much room for profit. It's simply a fun project now...
There are some great news for you:
We are very happy to announce that the participants whose pictures are selected to appear in the Calendar will receive a free copy delivered to their home!
IBS Tech as a new sponsor will carry the cost and the shipping for those 13 calendars. Details on...
...of course also non 80 Series models are equally welcome :-) I just couldn't post this "Call for Pictures" in every forum...but feel free to spread the word ;-) I choose the 80s section because I have one myself:
Thank you for all your reactions! I am quite amazed how big the 80 Series community is in GB!
We will save that theme for another edition...for this time we want the type of pictures like the other members already posted :-)
To all the others: You got the hang of it! :-)
But to become part...
Dear Overlanders and Landcruiser Enthusiasts,
Since the beginning of 2014 I am the proud owner of an 80 Series Diesel over here in Switzerland. It has a DIY drawer system, in-car sleeping set-up and lots of other mods. We plan a one year journey through the Americas beginning next summer...
