Funny world, when I rang you and told you I was in motor trader and wanted to buy your LC for a friend you quickly dismissed me and wasn't interested in selling it to me. Now its up for £28k, looks like he'll make a years worth of earning in just one car :lol:...

Just had my 80 series shot blasted today, I was a bit worried tbh but the garage called me and said chassis is perfect / axles all good. Mind you, it's only done 66,000 miles, 4.2 td.

x4 100 series LC centre hub caps, from 16" wheels. £120 inc postage

True, In Pakistan they can be re done for about 20,000 rupees which is about £57

Weirdly the foam is still good on both seats obviously not perfect but still very good

I have front seats for an 80 series in grey leather, as usual they have seen better days. Has anyone had their seats refurbished? Any companies in the midlands that can do them? I don't mind travelling. Thanks

UPDATE - whilst trying to work out the problem I'm having unfortunately someone crashed into the side of the Landcruiser whilst turning right at a junction and straight into the LC. It now looks like it will be written off and off to the scrapper.

So it only went for an MOT in July and failed, parked it up all OK, and now this. Its 1HD 4.2 td 100 series 1998

Fuel filter OK Air filter OK Unplugged EGR but no luck Noticed some smoke coming from pump area in engine bay Want to see if its an easy fix before I book it in a garage and hurt the wallet.

4.2 TD LC, Starts up first time but will NOT rev up, black smoke and then cuts out 15 seconds later, then slightly struggles to start. Any ideas or info will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I have a '92 Land cruiser 80 series, 4.2 td. The engine has been run on veg oil and the oil inside the engine has gone ' jelly ' like and is now running rough and leaking oil when running. Anyone out there that does engine rebuilds on these? I'm based in the midlands. Thanks.

T'was on eBay couple weeks ago, gearbox problem down in Devon.

I wouldn't go for L200's personally. Head gasket issues etc

I have a 2002 52 Reg LC3, 120 series SWB manual 3.0 ltr, 1 owner for 20 years, no rot and never welded. All original! Mileage is 143k, will be having new t belt + full service. I will be advertising it in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Thanks!

@Safamark I was not the original owner, I was the 2nd owner I think, I purchased it locally about 15 miles away from the original owners. I didn't have it long, perhaps 6 months and sold it on. Glad to see it stayed in UK and not exported.
