i just replaced my OEM alternator . for a high amp output alternator. now battery warning light came on . I'm getting a solid 14 volts and my battery is holding a charge. dose anyone if the 3 wire connector that gets plugged in to the alternator have anything to do with the battery warning light?

a ball peen hammer worked for me to get the cone washers out just tap on top side of the center cap right above the studs . i just replaced the inner and outer bearings and racers also replace all six studs.
