Was just going to reply but see you’ve done it! All I can say is bolt mine and Sam’s were F****** tight and we had to make up a pulley with high tensile bolts as normal ones just wouldn’t shift it, Guess you were lucky!

Not much help I know, but I spent hours & hours on my dining table with a power probe getting it right, with a lot of help from posts on mud, this was all some years ago, and with hindsight I’d have been better off buying a new one from Amayama or the likes

I welded a blank plate & old socket over the end of my 54 box spanner so I can then fit the torque wrench to it easily

I’ve got one of those drain clearing hoses that attatches to a pressure washer, poke that into the chassis and it pulls itself through using the high pressure water jets. the amount of crud that comes out is amazing something like…. ebay 165562524105

Noticed a small leak on my inlet manifold last week, probably due to the higher boost pressure from the new Gturbo, so took off the inlet manifold, cleaned it all up & fitted new gaskets this afternoon, all pretty straight forward & hopefully cured. Will give it a good run tomorrow.

Where does the exhaust run to nick, and do you put anything on it to stop it filling with water when wading?………. That’s what I do, latex glove over the exhaust & air inlet, exhaust in rear wheel arch, and inlet up under the chassis

Mine exits in front of the rear wheel, and yes it does heat & increase the tyre pressure by a couple of psi on a looong run. pressures increase far more if doing a long drive in a hot climate with the sun on one side, also a lot of braking on hills / mountains heat the rims considerably...

I’m running 22 psi on my new g turbo, had the pump & injectors done as well, already got intercooler, 3" exhaust egt gauge etc etc, the difference is incredible with the new turbo & pump refurb / tune

He sold it to nene outright, that pic was from when they first got thier hands on it and if kb saw it sitting in under growth, that’s not so good. I do know that it was good when he sold it, and the mileage is nothing for these engines

Yes I do! Travelled with the previous owner who did the work on it, several times, he was meticulous in his preparations & also did some very big & long trips in it. It’s been with nene for probably 2 or 3 years though……. Andy
