Hi, A friend of my daughter is planning an overland trip to South Africa, via West Africa, early next year. There will be two adults and a small child. First, although they've decided on a Landcruiser - which one? I'm tempted to suggest an 80 Series, but a 95 would seem a more economical...

Cheers, do you know what Karl's user-id is on here? It only a whim really, I'm just after the owner's manual for future ref. (like fuses, for example) and simply to have one to go with the Cruiser - currently the only thing I'd like to know is what the 'Mode' button does on the heater controls...

Hi, My Prado came without service history, so ....would it be safe to assume that the timing belt doesn't need doing until the warning light comes on? (I assume it's mileage activated from the last change). Generally everything is in good nick & appears to have been looked after and not abused...

...true, but first I've got to see what it's going to cost me to get it through the MOT tomorrow :pray:

Hi Guys Looking for an inexpensive, used, set of 4/5 265/75R16 Muds - Cooper STT, Hankook RT03, Kumho KL71 or similar - 10mm+ tread. (Would also conside 265/70) Also, centre console lid (the flap) & whatever holds the gear lever gaiter in place (?) ...I suspect the list will be extended ;)...
