Would like to install a right hand rear gull wing on my HZJ105. I assume these are the same as 100 series rear windows.
Has anyone done this and have a recommendation for a supplier?
Thanks

My understanding is that the bodies are the same apart from spec levels. It's the chassis that's different.

I purchased a pair of gull wings from "the land crusier company" in Australia. They apparently fit 100/105. They were supplied promptly. However... the mk1 versions I got needed a lot of rework to bend the doors to suit.

The flat panels didn't sit correctly. I wish I spent a little more for the emu wings.

Once fitted they were perfectly fine and water tight and give the largest possible access holes. If mounting something to the inside you might need to update the rams.

I got some from America for my 80, the yodatec ones. Well built and not too bad to fit, not sure if they do them for 100/105. However, I found explore glazing in Holland not long after and they look just as good and probably cheaper. My yodatec ones were £1900 after import tax and delivery which was more than I expected but never mind the bill had to be paid. The Dutch ones are probably cheaper and def worth a look.

Cheers guys, I’ve seen the emu ones and the Land Cruiser company ones but didn’t like the top hinges or catches that stick out.
Hopefully some others will come along or explore glazing will start making them soon.

I have Chris' left over parts which include the main panel for at least 1 side. If you have fabrication abilities or contacts, you could borrow them to use as a template to copy. As Chris mentioned, they are flat panels that need some small folds, or better yet a little roll in the right places. It will be a while before they get to the top of my todo list unfortunately.

Thanks Jon but I’m a bit ham fisted with bodywork so will wait or possibly revise how I go about mounting shower / boiler controls

I spent a fair bit of time mulling over windows for my 80 - which I guess has the same options as 100. I narrowed it down to Emu wings vs Cruiser Company. I went with Emu Wings simply because I didn't really want to drill - but in hindsight, it probably wasn't worth the substantial extra $$.

Anyway - to my point! If you are considering buying stuff from the USA, then Long Range America has a sale at the moment. Still works out to be about US$800 for a pair, so not cheap, but perhaps more flexibility with shipping options compared to OZ.

Hopefully the Cruiser Company have considerably improved their 100/105 windows, since the versions sent to @Howmanygoes!

Another good option for some I’m sure, thanks @albycamel
But I’d like to still have a glass window with internal top hinge so it’s invisible from outside and a couple of the flush compression locks at the bottom. So it’s probably not available anywhere.
But there’s nothing to stop me improvising some shower controls accessed by winding down a rear window instead. And the saving in £ could fund a shower cubicle that drops down from the roof bars
Will think some more and then decide

I've seen what you're talking about on a 78 troopy in Oz - I think they came from the Netherlands so may be worth searching. I'll try find the name..
