10in Tablet Mount for my 80

New to this site. Recently got an 80 and looking at the options to mount a tablet for Topo Maps Etc.

Have looked around a bit and there seem to be all manor of options, variations. Good, bad and the ugly.

Any thoughts, or can anyone point me to some good links or threads.

Windshield?
Dash?
Custom or off the shelf?

I have an Andriod table on a RAM mount connected to the passenger seat grab handle on the dash. Works well.

I was just about to say the same thing. RAM mount every time.

RAM mount with the larger ball. Nothing else comes close.

I screwed a ram mount for an iPad mini on the left hand side of the dash where it curves round to the glove box. Enough room to still open that and it’s not in the way for the passenger. All through Africa and many other places and it’s not fallen off, moved or anything else.

How, what clamp do you used to lock it to the grab handle?

This seems like a simple idea, and one that can be removed easily when not in use.

Had a quick look on ebay, some advertised for motor bikes come with a U clamp fixing. I'm guessing something like that would work, have to check the diameter of the grab handle
