My A/C packed in a couple of weeks after buying my LC which was about August last year. I came across this post on the 4 Runner forum last night which has fixed the issue for me http://www.toyota-4runner.org/problems- ... shing.html
So thanks to all contributors at 4 Runner
I have taken a couple of photos to save you digging around for the relay layout.
You swap over the front fog relay with the A/C relay to see if you have a relay problem or something more serious, in my case it's just the relay and the front fogs don't work now.
The replacement part number for the upgraded A/C relay is 90987-02028 and is Grey instead of Cream in colour and quoted by MrT at £58-61 (I have asked Mr Rubie if he can help
)
The original A/C relay (the same as the front fog relay) part number is 90987-02022
Go to the fuse box on the RHS of the engine bay
This is the location of the A/C relay
This is the location of the front fog relay
Swap the two around to test, A/C should work and front fogs dead. Order replacement and fit.
