120 to 100 series

Has anyone changed from a 120 to a 100 series?

I believe you have an 80 and prefer the 120 ?

If so swapping a 120 for a 100 makes little sense to me .

Only upgrade i can think of is a 90 series .

Or the FJ Cruiser might be worth a test drive if you feel the need to change ?

Why do you ask the question TP? Are you thinking of a change.
I've had a 100 series for 10 years and a 120 for 5 so I have half a chance of an opinion.
In short my 19 year old 120 never ceases to impress me, it's comfortable and nice to drive but a bit uninvolving. The 100 series is a little more involving in a "Classic" sort of way.

Was just fancying a 100 series as well as my 120.
I've always thought they look amazing and I do love that engine.
I fancy driving round in a bigger tank for a while...

Is there much difference in the 4speed or 5speed gearbox?

There are several upgrades which came with the 5 spd autobox and mine is a 5 spd. I recently went in a 4 spd version ( member on here) and I hardly noticed the gear changes or any difference TBH.
