My Family's had an old fj40 for years, the body is a custom shortened 67 with with a dodge bed, and engine is 79. anyways, two weeks ago i went to jump another car battery, and when i closed the hood on my fj, the hood stand unlatched and fell into the engine area... and the engine the shut off.. and i haven't been able to start it. i found that there is power going to the ignition coil but coming out of the ignition coil there is no power. even after i got a brand new coil there is still no power coming out of the coil. also there is a wire coming off of the side of the distributor that seems to have been ripped off of somewhere.. and i have no idea where it goes haha, this random wire is connected to the same terminal that has a wire going to the condenser..
sooo... anyone have any thoughts..?
