I posted that in eBay Addicts on Friday and it had only reached £1.5k then......it's been in my watched list since and I was half tempted to put in a low ball bid when I received the "Dont miss out on..." email reminder earlier today. I couldn't be bothered in the end but that does seem a good price if the truck is in half decent condition.
There seem to be quite a few petrol 80s on eBay - with and without LPG conversions at the moment. All seem to be going for around the £2.5k-3.5k mark. So that is still quite a lot of car for the money.

I had added it to my watch list just to see what it fetched as I had just bought a very similar one, same year same mileage, for £2400 
so far the only problems that have arisen are a broken sidelight, which I did know about and the windscreen washer system has a leak somewhere but it's going to Julian V on Tuesday for a pre-MOT inspection and it will all be sorted then.
