hello,
my truck decided to leak diesel, after one hour I pointed it to come from this full load screw, tried to mark/file the up position on the screw, but didnt realise exactly how it was set.
location at the back of the pump didnt help either.
Untill I find the o ring, I put some teflon tape and leak is diminished, but here is where I hit trouble.
first I turned the screw all in and idle rpm went to 1100 instead of 800 and there was a lot of smoke.
I unscrewed maybe one turn, idle came 800 and seems ok.
Is there any method to better set this screw without taking the injection pump out of the engine?
is any risk running the truck like this?
any advice would be great
