Not sure what you mean Gary but that wasn't a typo 13000rpm and she starts whistling for dixie and all i did was add a couple of washers to the wastegate actuator as per Beau's suggestion .

No sorry. Usual sub 30 mpg

44mpg nae chance, you got the number of litres used wrong

But didnt i buy a big 3 litre engined 4x4 expecting any better

Our 1.6 petrol focus does about 44mpg on a run according to the on board display. New car will do over 60mpg though.
