70 Series FOB?

Hi guys,

Greetings from the carribean. I own a 76 series 4 door landcruiser Vx model. My car was bought new 2013, and has electric doors and locks but did not come with a remote control. Is there one i can buy and program it to my car or does it not do this? Does it have a FOB?

My 76 has a 1HZ straight six 4.2 Diesel engine. HZJ76 model.

Hi Welcome to the club.

You can buy a universal remote central locking kit off some where like ebay.

I'm planning on doing this for my 70. I want to get one with blank flip out keys that I can get cut to the same as my ignition key.

Did you have any luck upgrading to remote central locking? I saw Ben's response but the locking kit offered is a full system, rather more than needed for our cars with key entry central locks?
