Still not a bad price, even if it's gone up £10k

Well if that price is registered UK duty paid then it’s pretty good. Add 10% duty and then 20% VAT to the Dutch price and there’s not much profit there. But to me it smells of scam…. Why would you buy it from the Netherlands, bring it into UK deal with all the hassle to make just £2k on it?

Not sure about a scam - more likely bought it and committed to bringing it back and then realised it wasn't as tidy as first expected (or discovered something nasty) and now looking to shift it and make a couple of quid?
