80 series on TFL

A lifetime in San Francisco, should be rust free then.:thumbup: A UK spec truck in that condition would probably be well north of £20k the way things seem to be going with these.
 
I really don't like the paint job on that. Well the wrap job, that is.
 
I wonder just how durable a wrap would be for an "adventure" vehicle, especially in hot countries where the Sun can destroy even a hard laquered finish over time, not to mention interior trim like dashboards and seat covers etc.
 
The majority of high speed ferries in Australia are wrapped and in terms of colour fastness and adhesion it lasts very well.

If the vinyl wrap was seen as a consumable layer, I think it would work. It's easy to patch repair.
 
SFO is right by the sea, and it's not warm and dry like southern California....
