My 90 is acting weird lately..
For example, it shakes alot when I turn it off. Also, when it's cold, makes very loud sound like tk tk tk tk tk at the front part of the engine
The shaking could be a knackered engine mount. Diesels do tend to shake a bit when switched off but the rubber engine mounts tend to stop the vibration from being transmitted to the body. If one of the mounts has come away then it could be letting the engine jump about when ignition is turned off.
The "tk tk tk" sound when cold could be a couple of things. If the sound goes away after a short period of time then it could be a lazy hydraulic lifter. When was the last time the engine oil was changed? Does it get changed regularly? Long periods of time between oil changes can lead to carbon sediment deposits building up in things like hydraulic lifters and tappets causing them to become gummed up.
If the sound only goes away when the engine is hot then its possibly a badly set valve clearance.
Those two sounds kinda showed up at the same time.
The 'tktktktktktktk' sound goes on only when the engine is cold. When the working temparature is reached there is no weird sound..
