‘97 80 series intro

Finally picked up my wheels. Had them painted in a lighter shadow chrome. New centre caps from Amayama via the UAE.

Managed to find a used (had only done 100 miles) set of BFG KO2s on steel wheels for £500 - result!

Hopefully get the wheels on this weekend!

Got the wheels on. I really like the OEM wheels so very happy. Just the front bumper to paint now.

The barrels on the rear are really tight on the callipers. I was expecting the fronts to be a larger OD. I had to remove a second layer of balance weights to clear the callipers so will get them rebalanced differently.

Half a bottle of OKO in each tyre might sort out balancing .
