Occasionally car will go into like a limp mode feeling as per the video above. No matter what throttle position I'm at it won't rev above 2k rpm.
This will reset itself if I stop for 10 seconds or so and will then reoccur within the next 20 mins of driving.
Have replaced transmission fluid and confirmed all cables are tight on the throttle/transmission cable.
I understand I should take this to a mechanic, which it's on my list once I can save up enough money. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction with something I can try myself before sending her into a shop.
Was thinking a set of solenoids wouldn't be a bad idea. But unsure if I'm going down the right track.
