Alarm driving me mental

Hi,
I'm currently in Namibia and have somehow managed to activate an alarm clock type of noise which sounds in the vehicle for about 10 seconds every time I turn the car off. I think it has something to do with the clock on the dash but cannot work out how to turn it off. Does anyone know how I can turn it off? I'm reaching the point of taking a crow bar to a perfectly sound 80 series.

are you sure your sunroof isnt open? i think this happens if its left open.

That alarm drove me mental for months over the first winter I had the truck until I discovered it by accident when first using the sunroof

Blimey I've learned something else. i thought mine only went off after about 30 secs of leaving the sunroof open. I'll check tomorrow.
