Currently mulling over a few options on what to do with my Cruiser, sell it or not, upgrade or not. Whatever happens I’ll still have a Cruiser, maybe not an 80, but it will be a Cruiser.
It is a 1997 HDJ80 with 140,000 miles on the clock, body work is in good condition and has been maintained with no expense spared. 90% of all work carried out has been done by Overland Cruisers, with receipts as back up. I fully understand and do not expect to get back what I’ve invested in the truck, but what would a realistic price be if I decide to put it on the market?
Details are,
Intercooler
Uprated front and rear brakes
Madman EMS
3 working diff locks
Long travel 3” slinky suspension lift with RoxShocks
Kaymar rear bumper with twin wheel carriers and 2 OME alloy wheels
Front winch bumper, and goodwinch
Rock sliders
Longranger auxiliary fuel tank
On-board Viair compressor and receiver
Black Widow storage draws
40L water tank
IBS split charge system with optima batteries
In dash CB
Snorkel
Cargo barrier
Stainless steel exhaust system
Under body bash plates
And probably more, I just forget the rest right now…..
The only issue that is outstanding is a crack in the transfer box casing, due to the level plug being over tightened. This casing will be replaced, the truck is currently at a well-known 4X4 specialist being serviced as I write this post.
