Back from the dead. My 70 lives at last. Parts needed.

Hi all. Some will recall my truck from back In the day when it was owned by Trevor around 7 years ago. Well around 2 years ago cambelt tensioner let go and well, bent a lot of it’s self. But I’m pleased to say with a new head it’s back on the road and ready to go. I’m having a few issues with the alternator overcharging therefore boiling the battery acid so this week I’m having a new alternator regulator. Not too up set by that one as I’m guessing that it could be the original so possibly almost 30 years old. But i have a shopping list that I hope someone can help with. I’d like to put the fuel tank back underneath the car not in the boot, therefore need fuel tank straps if. anyone has any? Also because we now have two children has anyone got any rear seats and seat belts? Then I’d love you for ever if you could spare the pull handle that opens the big boot door. The wife snapped it off years ago.

This is great news and so glad your keeping it and going to enjoy it.
Any luck sourcing parts yet ?
These are all parts I’ve had in the past too which is annoying.
Surly someone on here knows of someone breaking or who has broke an LJ70.
Il keep looking though mate.
