Battery died, tried to jump start, ended up with some gremlins

Yesterday my battery died. I tried jump starting it without any luck. I ended getting a new battery installed and now she's starting fine.
I now have some other issues though.
1. My steering column isn't moving back and forth, only up and down.
2. When I switch off my car, I'm hearing a motor or something in the steering column for approximately a minute and then it stops.
3. My reverse camera worked for a bit and now isn't working. The screen was saying that it was trying to initialize the system. Now the reverse camera isn't coming on.

First step. Check all the fuses.

How did you try to jump it, why didnt it work? Any known issues you can share?
