Bit of a strange one this.

Many japanese cars have batteries with tiny terminals, I know my Jimny does. But those aren’t the tiny ones, just look a bit smaller. Possible cheapy chinese ones, as muchof their stuff is almost right.

Well every day is a schoolday as they say, i never knew till Dave's post there that smaller than standard battery posts were a thing, obviously we all remember the rectangular bolt through terminals used by Ford back in the day (and might even be the case now as i haven't looked at a Ford for some 30 years).

The negative terminal has a sleeve on it as it's the only way to fit.
Belive it or not all the other terminals are with Ebay clamps and because there made with cheap metal the tighten really well.
My terminal was perfect for months till I had to jump start a friend's van.
Last few mornings the car has been starting very quickly as it should.
I have bought the eBay ones just incase.

Before I changed the battery's the oem ones were on it I think as is shown in the picture.
Illustration picture only but same make.
Just replaced both.

How did jumping a van bugger up the terminal?
Because I put the jump leads on the drivers side battery and it must of loosed the terminal .
The clamp was as tight as it would go but kept coming off the terminal and never fitted properly since.
The clamp was from Ebay so cheap but done the job until then.
I had to replace the clamp hence I found out that the clamp from toyota was to big for the battery hence I had to fit a spacer .

The 150 model is so expensive to find in the invincible model and it's only 64plate £18500 but full toyota service history 2 owners from new.

Not sure how much I will get for my 120 it has 234000 with full history.
Belt changed only a few months ago now.

Bit puzzled how the 150 has only 1 battery with lots more electronics fitted compared to the 120.

In the uk where its not too cold you can run the 120 from one battery if you want to. Most cars only have one battery after all

Better than I expected to be honest.
So smooth and relaxed it's unreal.
After taking a closer look as never got time yesterday looks alot more expensive than I paid.
