burning oil (diesel for domestic use) in 100 or 120

anyone tried diesel sold for house heating (burning oil) in their d4d engines? it is suppsed to be regular diesel but with more than 50 ppm of sulphur ( same diesel as sold before modern engines came)..

i think it would be illegal
and the oil is dyed like farmers red diesel

It is illegal although I know lOads who run on it though.
