Hi All,

Not land Cruisers I know but anyway....

Anyone familiar with the Can-Am brand? Quad bikes/ UTV's etc What are they like? Are they comparable with say Honda quad bikes?

Looking to get a quad bike, and we have a big Can-Am dealer near us with loads of second hand ones that come serviced with warranties etc so just wondering.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

They're a long running brand, past Dakar winners and produce vehicles for the military so I'd say they're as good as anything out there. They used to use mainly Rotax engines. Years ago, a mate of mine had a Bombardier 250 bike, he bought for a song and it just kept on going with minimal maintenance which really impressed me.

Honda are by far the best....... I have several shooting estates as customers and they have all tried other makes and gone back to Honda.....
Can-Am are not bad and a nearby dealer takes a lot of beating.... it will be cheaper to start with than a Honda.... I wouldn't rule one out .

We have a Honda 520 bike and a 900cc can-am utv and I’m a hill farmer. Both are good. We’ve had Honda bikes for 30 years. When it came to looking at utv’s, John Deere dealer is 6 miles away, Honda 20, and can-am 45. Next doors keeper has tried all the rest of the buggies and is now on can-ams as the rest, gator, Polaris etc fall apart. Ours is used nearly every day over rough ground, can only say they’re pretty good. I would assume the bikes are not too bad too.
