how do you disconnect the auto CDL for low box?

i have the CDL dash switch for high box

just had a quick play and realised it's got to be a good idea

cheers

I've got the CDL dash switch and it operates on H and L range. On fitting it, you disconnect a plug on the transfer box. I think there is a thread on it on this forum.

If you can imagine looking forward directly at the back of the transfer box the the auto lock switch is around the 1 O'clock position.

Thats the one TP, I've pulled mine and low box is much more pleasurable and versatile when you can choose CDL by using the dash switch.

I posted a thread on it here if it's any help ...

thanks lads
the Asifir transfer-box plate arrived today,so hopefully i'll do two jobs at once tomorrow ;)

It's best that you cover the plug you remove to protect it from all the road grime. I cut the thumb off a pair of rubber gloves and fixed it with a cable tie. Trouble was when looked the other day it had perished, I guess because most stuff is biodegradable now. So, will probably use shrink tube or something
