I've got space to fit a tank in the back of my 80, the tank would be roughly 3500 cubic inches, (not having the Cruiser to hand at the mo I can't take precise measurements, so I'm guesstimating) about how many gallons/litres would that hold  if anyone can point me in the direction of an on-line conversion calculator for that it would be a great help

that's 57litres ish

(mainly because a chevrolet 350/351 is 5.7litres!)

and if you type "3500 cubic inches in litres" into google, it has its own handy calcutor that comes up at the top- does it for all sorts of conversions.

FWIW google says that 3500ci is 57.35litres

Thanks chaps, I knew someone would have the answer, google? I didn't think of doing that, 57ltrs  not bad, I think I'll have to investigate further when I get the 80 back from Julian V.
