Dash warning light issues

I would be happy with the old stereo back in and did ask him to put the old one back in and see if this was part of the problem, but no joy. he didn't try this.
I have been moving house and had another car to use so I wasn't fussed about the time at that point, but things have changed and now this has become a pain as it still has the lights on.
he also claimed this was a common problem with the 100 Land Cruisers.

Is this the type of stereo receiver you had installed? I attached a photo of what I had installed in my 100 series.
