Deep cycle (split charge) in your daily driver

Do any of you have a dual battery (starter and deep cycle) system in your daily driver? If so, do you just keep it connected as normal, or do you disconnect or swap out your deep cycle? If so, what do you do? Stick it in the garage, leave it in place and isolate it?

I do and I leave the battery hooked up and the Intervolt takes care of it topping up as necessary.
