Another thing just came up. It looks like the length of the spline shaft that's inside the rag joint can vary by a couple of inches. I cannot really find out what that length used to be originally. There's definitely some empty space there now and I could extend the spline shaft further into the rag joint. Can some of you, guys, look through the slice on the side of the rag joint and check out the length of the spline shaft inside? Everything seems to be working fine now but I'd really like to be as close to the original as possible to avoid further trouble.
