Yeah, yeah. I know. :icon-rolleyes::eusa-naughty:

So long story short, i've currently got boost light, charging light, timing belt light, brake warning and a couple of other lights stuck on but the gauges are working fine.
Any idea which widget I've blown?
Surely I'm not alone....

Can't think of anything specific to an LC 80 but I've known blown diodes in the voltage rectifier by welding. Other than that, check all fuses and connections first.

All of these lights came on mine why the plug at the back of the alternator were not 100%. I would Start there.

Diode pack or the plug Stu mentions, a lot of the dashboard does not go out until he alternator actually starts to charge.

Was the battery/alternator leads disconnected for the welding?

All those lights come on when the wiring to the alternator gets a bit loose.... sounds like an alternator problem maybe?
