engine conversion

gday guys,

I'm interested in putting a bigger engine in my 03 3L prado and would like to put something bigger in it. I have no real Idea if you can do this, but any info or help would be great or if anyone has done this at all?? what would be the best engine to use as well!

People tend to use the Lexus V8 lumps for the 90 series, but I haven't heard of anyone upgrading a 120 engine. Wouldn't it be easier to just buy the 4l v6 petrol?

I suspect there aren't many takers for engine swaps on a 120 because of the electronics - there's a lot of unravelling and potential compatibility issues there.
