In my ongoing search for suitable sliders I’m considering options from these 2 companies.
Any reviews/experiences??

I've had an N4 transfer box guard for about 15 years now,it's 8mm alu plate,my 120's been balanced on it many times. Asifir and N4 are the best protection I've seen. Not seen their sliders tho'.

Good to know that they produce good quality.
I’ve decided on the N4 option. WestCoast have stock so I can take a trip over and pick up at the weekend.

I searched for years to find a steel rear bumper and rock sliders for my 120 mate. I have two mates who are good welders so that's the solution I took.
I often see groups of french LC 120's and 150's heading south for Morocco, usually well prepped with french protection.
Paul at West Coast used to race 120/150's in 4x4 events in Morocco so he knows what protections work.

I have tube like that on my 80, which is no doubt stronger than the original step, but functionality for being used as a step is terrible. Slippy when wet and not much purchase.
I'll be adding some width to it where I normally step on it to make it better to use.
Worth getting some skate board tape to put on there and make it less slippery

Tbh, neither me or my wife used the steps for getting in or out anyway so they were largely redundant and offered minimal protection.
