Not a major trip like some on here do, but my first attempt (I can only dream!! :eusa-pray: )

Myself and Fiancee (SWMBO) took a spin to Agde in the Languedoc region last August. Even though I've had it on the continent before, it was the first time we had properly packed up the 'cruiser and headed off. So impressed with the comfort and ease at which the LC ate up the miles on such a long run. Also, as its a commercial it absolutely swallowed anything we threw at it including a bbq and wooden deck furniture- no need for roof boxes here!

Really impressed by the Millau Viaduct on the way

The campsite was pretty good too - Club Mer et Soleil - recommended by me anyway

We also took a diversion into Paris on the way back - got told to move on by 'Le gendarmerie' but it was worth it!

Great reporting,

So now the maiden voyage is out of the way, and you are feeling more than comfortable.

Where to next?

Not sure where next Graham, Africa would be a obvious choice, but costs will probably hold us back. Probably a bigger European trip first. Nice shots around Millau btw.

@ Ben, the 90 became a builders and farmers favourite in Ireland during the good times. Couple that with Road tax rate for commercials being 310 euro instead of 1350 for a 7 seater. And a few conversion specialists saw the market demand. They probably outweigh passenger 90's by 20:1

i am very envious of the selection of cruisers toyota sell/have sold over there versus the UK. :|

i notice you also got a lot of commercial 70's, and from what i can tell a fair few KZJ70's aswell as PZJ70's, and a lot of others.

Yeah the swb 70 series was pretty popular as a commercial in 2.4 turbo. But would love to be able to get a pick-up 70 or a troopie here!
The biggest downside with Toyota Ireland is the spec is pretty low for VRT reasons. Mine has leccy windows mirrors etc, but no Aircon or rear locker? The lockers weren't even options on the GX model here. The VX version of the 90 was nearly 80 grand new(punts)
