Flickering engine management light

Hi All,

New to the group. I have a 1996 colorado and have discovered a flickering engine light. It's not as bright as it is when the ignition is in the on position. Was told this could be a bad earth. Has anyone had this problem or could you tell me where the earth points are other than the wing.

It's come on again but the oil level is fine. Any other reason it might be on ?

Unless it's a bad earth. Any idea where the main earth's are located?

Turns out it was a badly wired dashcam that caused it just in case anyone else comes across it
