Hello all,

Well, there is no shortage of beautiful beaches down this end of China.
We have been in Sanya, which is the Southern most tip of Hainan Island, Chinas most Southern province.
I have never seen so many palm trees growing out of the sand on the beach, as I have here.
The weather here is great, 25 deg. plus every day, and it's snowing in Beijing, great isn't it.
The hotels are good and cheap, the food even cheaper.
We don't waste money, and have got a nice 2 star hotel for £11.50 a night.
Food is costing us about £1.80 for lunch, and about £2.20 for evening meal.

Beach cleaning, includes new tractor with 3 way hoe at rear for turning over the sand to about 8 inches deep, then a grader sieve thing is following the hoe, scooping up the top 8 inches for sieving the sand, and trapping any thing bigger tan a 8mm object, and a new JCB thing following, to collect the pile of collected, after running a few km down the beach.

Needless to say, the beaches are immaculate, as the local government clean the beaches every 2nd night.
