To be on the safe side maybe I should take it to a car audio shop, knowing my luck I would probably blow it up :angry-extinguishflame:
 
You can buy a kit with all the wires and instructions from any motorfactors. As long as you have the amp and sub already you are almost there. The kits are rated to suit the power rating of the amps. Just follow the instructions being careful not to run any wires where they can get trapped or rub on metal edges. You will also need your head unit instructions to find which wire is the amp remote switching wire and your sub pre-out sockets.
 
got the rears done and fitted now :thumbup:
