Whilst we were all tucked up in bed on last night, did anyone spare a thought for the poor National Trust staff who worked tirelessly throughout the night to move the stones "forward" an hour at Stonehenge.

They have to do this twice a year, you know? Last year the rope snapped on the landrover.....

Chas,your tree reminds of a little hard case Aussie that I worked with and he was scared of ghosts.One pitch black night
he was coming through a thick lot of bush that the road snaked through where a murder had been done in the old days he had a 1948 Chevrolet and one of the back tyres blew,well he was by himself and he just kept going until he was well outfit.completely stuffed the whole wheel and there was still smoke coming off it when I came through about half an hour later.He was still as white as a sheet.

Sadly Chas, that picture seems to sum up the modern approach. To stay in a prison even with an open door, and still to prefer to communicate with the world through a faceless medium instead of stepping out and experiencing what the world has to offer.
