Garmin GPSMAP276C

Hey all, as the 276c Garmin is considered the muts nuts of navigators according to many reviews, is it still as current as it needs to be as i have the chance of getting one.

Just wondered if things like maps are still available or is there a newer better model? (that is actually better rather than the recent replacments that are supposed to be inferior.)

The Garmin Montana is considered to be the "replacement" satnav for the 276c. It has many great "new" features that in my eyes make it a better unit and far more intuitive to use. Dont get me wrong it takes some time to get it how you want it and you can just about customise anything you want on the unit but once up and running its very easy to use and has worked well for me.

What Warren said - the 276 is discontinued now. The Montana and BaseCamp take some getting used to but are really great together.
