I am a long-time owner of a base model HDJ79 that was purchased new in 06. It's set up for touring/overlanding Australia and have used it to travel northern Australia from the east coast to the west and back and parts of South Australia multiple times, it's not built for extreme off road rock crawling, but it does have ARB lockers and electrical modifications for overlanding. I have come to share and learn from the rest of the world about Land Cruiser experiences, repairs and modifications.
