As someone interested in doing some basic off-roading/green lane driving is it worth joining?

I was a member a while back, primarily to get access to Trail Wise mapping and it was useful, though you still have to check with the local authority as to the legalities of the byways you plan to use. There are alternatives worth exploring before GLASS.

When COVID hit and we all had to stay at home, I cancelled my membership and the person I spoke to was incredibly rude, put me off for good now.
