Hello From Sweden

Hi everyone!

Introducing myself as a happy new owner of a '99 100 series with the 1HD-FTE and 4-speed Auto. My wife and I have wanted this truck for many years. Finally found ourselves in Stockholm, Sweden with the opportunity to pick one up. It's not in the "best" condition, but for a 25 year old vehicle, we couldn't be happier. We hope to own our new rig for many years to come, so none of it's immediate issues are a concern for us.

I've lurked in the background of this site for a long time; researching, reading, daydreaming over everyone's 100's and I can finally post about mine! Only question I have is: does anyone have a reference to a trusty repair facility in Stockholm? I'm not picky, just a fan of referral business and good old word-of-mouth advertising.

Here's a couple pics of her new arrival home. We have some long term plans to turn it into a practical overlander. Nothing for extreme off roading (that's how it starts, isn't it). We hope to keep the vehicle for a very long time. The AHC isn't functioning but I'd love to keep it, so nothing above a 2 inch lift. I do love the idea of making a ton of power but would rather go for reliability so maybe just an intercooler, chip, and valve body. That sort of thing. Right now, I'm focused on maintenance items that were neglected by previous owner. All in good time!
