Morning all, hoping someone might be able to help diagnose this issue. Drove my 60 for an hour on NYE and when I stopped the fuel pump arm (??) kept going, which in turn meant when I took the key out the engine still ran. I stalled it to stop the engine but the arm kept pumping even when the key was out the ignition. I parked it overnight with the battery disconnected which stopped said arm moving but the journey back was no fun as the arm revved the engine everytime it pumped.
I’ve attached a still from the video of the arm going, forum won’t allow video attachment?

Anyone got any idea what’s going on?

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Is there supposed to be a spring return, that has maybe snapped? Can you move it back by hand?

Hi, apparently there’s no spring missing and it can’t be moved by hand.

Not knowing much about your engine, but from the rough outline, it sounds like you have a problem with the fuel control/fuel pump.
I presume it's a diesel?

Not read much of the thread, but it might help.

There are a few threads on Mud regarding 2H engines not shutting off, assuming you have one, worth having a dig through them see if there is any info to help you there.
