Hi people my name is John and I'm pretty new to this whole landcruiser thing. Here's something about me...
My cruiser is an HJ60 built in 1983 with a mere 480k Kms on the clock. Mechanically and bodywork looking pretty solid, I think a previous owner had done a chunk of work on it.
Mods are limited just now, it has a winch but I'll be getting rid of that as I have no use for winch in the next couple of years or so, so why carry the weight around....
Plans for the beast. First fix the minor mechanicals and leaks I do have. Second replace front bumper, possibly rear and add led lights. Replace suspension, shocks and all rubber bushes.
Why did I buy this? That's a good question, life's too short and I want to do some overlanding trips. I didn't want to do that in a modern vehicle and it was a straight choice between Landover and landcruiser. I've owned several Landovers over the years but never a cruiser. Saw this, drove it, loved it and that was that.
Let the adventure begin
